Spiritual people often feel good about attending worship and doing the right things. But Jesus bypassed the spiritual people of his day and instead invited the unspiritual into his community. His faith family became a collection of rejects and outcasts as people nothing like Jesus liked him the most. What if the church today is meant to be a hospital for the hurting rather than a country club for the comfortable?
