Recap

Hebrews 1:4 CSB
So he became superior to the angels, just as the name he inherited is more excellent than theirs.

He did not say these things TO angels:

Hebrews 1:5 CSB
For to which of the angels did he ever say, You are my Son; today I have become your Father, or again, I will be his Father, and he will be my Son?
God is the one speaking here in the Bold - quotes written from Old Testament Prophets.
Acts 13:33 CSB
God has fulfilled this for us, their children, by raising up Jesus, as it is written in the second Psalm: You are my Son; today I have become your Father.

Psalm 97:7 CSB
All who serve carved images, those who boast in worthless idols, will be put to shame. All the gods must worship him.

He did say this about the angels:

Hebrews 1:7 CSB
And about the angels he says: He makes his angels winds, and his servants a fiery flame,
Psalm 104:4 CSB
and making the winds his messengers, flames of fire his servants.
What do angels do? Well another name for angels is messengers. They are there to serve the Lord in the spiritual realm. One way they serve is the delivering of messages from God to the people God chooses.

To the SON, Jesus, He says this:

Hebrews 1:8–9 CSB
but to the Son: Your throne, God, is forever and ever, and the scepter of your kingdom is a scepter of justice. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; this is why God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of joy beyond your companions.
Psalm 45:6–7 CSB
Your throne, God, is forever and ever; the scepter of your kingdom is a scepter of justice. You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of joy more than your companions.
Isaiah 61:1 CSB
The Spirit of the Lord God is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners;
Isaiah 61:3 CSB
to provide for those who mourn in Zion; to give them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, festive oil instead of mourning, and splendid clothes instead of despair. And they will be called righteous trees, planted by the Lord to glorify him.
Philippians 2:9 CSB
For this reason God highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name,

And Continuing His message to the SON

Hebrews 1:10–12 CSB
And: In the beginning, Lord, you established the earth, and the heavens are the works of your hands; they will perish, but you remain. They will all wear out like clothing; you will roll them up like a cloak, and they will be changed like clothing. But you are the same, and your years will never end.
Psalm 102:25 CSB
Long ago you established the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.
Isaiah 50:9 CSB
In truth, the Lord God will help me; who will condemn me? Indeed, all of them will wear out like a garment; a moth will devour them.
Isaiah 51:6 CSB
Look up to the heavens, and look at the earth beneath; for the heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment, and its inhabitants will die like gnats. But my salvation will last forever, and my righteousness will never be shattered.
Psalm 102:25–27 CSB
Long ago you established the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you will endure; all of them will wear out like clothing. You will change them like a garment, and they will pass away. But you are the same, and your years will never end.
Hebrews 13:8 CSB
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
And
Hebrews 1:13 CSB
Now to which of the angels has he ever said: Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool?
Joshua 10:24 CSB
When they had brought the kings to him, Joshua summoned all the men of Israel and said to the military commanders who had accompanied him, “Come here and put your feet on the necks of these kings.” So the commanders came forward and put their feet on their necks.
Psalm 110:1 CSB
This is the declaration of the Lord to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool.”
Matthew 22:44 CSB
The Lord declared to my Lord, ‘Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet’?
Acts 2:34–35 CSB
For it was not David who ascended into the heavens, but he himself says: The Lord declared to my Lord, ‘Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool.’
Hebrews 10:13 CSB
He is now waiting until his enemies are made his footstool.

Why? Because angels have a duty:

Hebrews 1:14 CSB
Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve those who are going to inherit salvation?
Psalm 103:20 CSB
Bless the Lord, all his angels of great strength, who do his word, obedient to his command.
Matthew 18:10 CSB
“See to it that you don’t despise one of these little ones, because I tell you that in heaven their angels continually view the face of my Father in heaven.
Hebrews 5:9 CSB
After he was perfected, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him,
Angels minister those who are going to inherit salvation!
Who is that?
God can send angel armies to protect his people. Why do you think this is written in the Letter to the Hebrews?
