I. Hearing the Word

Luke 11:28 NKJV

But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”

Romans 10:17 NKJV

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The Question Jesus ask more than any other is, “Have you not read?”

There was an assumption that children of God were reading His word.

Matthew 19:4 NKJV

And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’

Ezra 7:10 NKJV

For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the Lord, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel.
