Acts 2:42 – Bible teaching, prayer, fellowship more that gathering together, eating together and communion.
We believe as you heard in the video – that we should do as the disciples, follow the apostles teaching, study and get to know God, and in Jesus see who God is, and live by the power of the Holy spirt, as we study Gods word the bible.
We Believe that prayer what we can enjoy together, and to pray for one another, as we live life with Jesus and one another. – Pray is not just getting God to do what we want, but to get to know God better and have our dreams and life shaped by His will, (God can use even turbels to mold us and let us know more about Jesus).
Fellowship, is gathering, it is fellowship in giving, in suffering together in worship together, a life lived together. (some would say a family).
Eating together (it is more than just eating; it is also about investing and serving one another). Entreating angles unaware.
Plus, also proclaiming Jesus’ death, and that he come again in communion.
Do you also think and live the themes form Act 2 42 out? Do you believe it is important to study the bible do get to know God better. Do you believe that is good to pray to get to know God better and to pray with the fellowship and for the fellowship?
Do you believe that the gather is important to be apart of the fellowship Sunday and other days? To worship, pray, live life.
Do you believe it is important to fellowship around meals together? To Serve and encourage the other believers.
And to repent of sin daily (confess your sins to one another, Jesus is just to forgive). And together proclaim Jesus life and death – until He comes again. In communion.
Growing as a fellowship: we are to: Ephesians 4. - building the body up. Speaking the truth in love – that we might grow, up to Christ.
(How are you growing in speaking the truth in love, are you growing up in to Christ? Is our fellowship building itself up in love up to Christ Jesus?)
What is our mission, to make disciples and teach them to follow all that Jesus said: Paul puts it this way:
2.Cor. 5:16-21 – what God did in Christ and our response, - we are to be ambassadors for Christ.
(In your day, are you seeing yourself as an ambassador for Jesus Christ? Does it bring you great joy, that God made Jesus sin that we might get his righteousness?)
Joy, obedience, boldness, love for God and wanting to share that with people.
Daliy walking with Jesus, submitted to him, dying to self to live for Christ,
Ambassadors for Christ, because God made him to be sin who had on sin that we might become the righteousness of God.
