Scripture Invitation

Beloved, as we come to the conclusion of our "Becoming Fruitful Members" series, I invite you to turn with me to the book of Isaiah, chapter 6, verses 1-8.
In this powerful passage, we witness the prophet Isaiah's transformative encounter with the living God and his wholehearted response to the call of revival.

Bible Passage

Isaiah 6:1–8 CSB
In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a high and lofty throne, and the hem of his robe filled the temple. Seraphim were standing above him; they each had six wings: with two they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew. And one called to another: Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Armies; his glory fills the whole earth. The foundations of the doorways shook at the sound of their voices, and the temple was filled with smoke. Then I said: Woe is me for I am ruined because I am a man of unclean lips and live among a people of unclean lips, and because my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of Armies. Then one of the seraphim flew to me, and in his hand was a glowing coal that he had taken from the altar with tongs. He touched my mouth with it and said: Now that this has touched your lips, your iniquity is removed and your sin is atoned for. Then I heard the voice of the Lord asking: Who will I send? Who will go for us? I said: Here I am. Send me.

Introduction

My brothers and sisters, we stand on the precipice of a mighty move of God.
Over the past few weeks, we have explored the essential elements of becoming fruitful members in preparation for the upcoming revival.
We have tilled the soil of our hearts, engaged in fruitful prayer, fellowship, and worship, and committed to discipleship and service.
Tonight, as we conclude this series, I want to issue a clarion call to each one of us to reap the harvest of revival.

Establish the Setting

In the days of the prophet Isaiah, the nation of Judah found itself at a crossroads.
King Uzziah, who had reigned for over five decades, had just died.
It was a time of transition and uncertainty, a moment when the people needed a fresh encounter with God.
In this pivotal season, Isaiah had a vision of the Lord, high and exalted, seated on His throne.
The train of His robe filled the temple, and seraphim hovered above, declaring, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory" (Isaiah 6:3).
The magnitude of God's holiness and majesty overwhelmed Isaiah, and he cried out, "Woe to me! I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips" (Isaiah 6:5).
But God did not leave Isaiah in his brokenness.
One of the seraphim took a live coal from the altar and touched Isaiah's lips, proclaiming, "See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for" (Isaiah 6:7).
In that moment of cleansing and restoration, Isaiah heard the voice of the Lord asking, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?"
Without hesitation, Isaiah responded, "Here am I. Send me!" (Isaiah 6:8).
Church, as we stand on the brink of revival, I ask you: Are you ready to answer the call?
Will you, like Isaiah, say, "Here am I. Send me"?

Responding to God's Call with Readiness

Brothers & Sisters in order to answer this great call we must learn to respond to God's call with readiness.
We must understand that, "When God calls you, He equips you."
Isaiah's response to God's question, "Whom shall I send?" reveals a heart that was prepared and willing to serve.
Our previous messages have equipped us with the tools we need to answer God's call.
We have cultivated hearts of repentance and humility, just as Isaiah recognized his own unworthiness in the presence of a holy God.
We have learned to pray with fervency and faith, knowing that God hears and answers.
We have experienced the power of authentic fellowship and worship, uniting us in purpose and passion.
And we have embraced the call to discipleship and service, ready to be used by God.
We must remember that “God doesn't call the qualified; He qualifies the called."
When we respond to God's call with a simple, "Here am I. Send me," He empowers us to be agents of revival in our world.

Applying Revival Principles to Kingdom Harvest

We must also apply the principles of revival to the work of kingdom harvest.
Isaiah's encounter with God not only transformed him personally but also commissioned him to be a messenger of revival to his nation.
In the same way, our personal revival must overflow into our mission to reach the lost.
"Revival is not just getting blessed in church, but it's taking those blessings and sharing them with a dying world."
We have been equipped with the message of the gospel, a message that has the power to transform lives.
We have experienced the cleansing and renewal that comes from repentance and faith.
Now, it is time to take that message to those who desperately need to hear it.
The servant the Lord tells us, “The church is God's appointed agency for the salvation of men. It was organized for service, and its mission is to carry the gospel to the world."
As fruitful members of God's church, we are called to be harvesters in His kingdom, sharing the love and truth of Christ with those around us.

Overcoming Obstacles to Fruitful Service

We must also learn to overcome the obstacles that hinder us from fruitful service.
Just as Isaiah had to confront his own inadequacy and uncleanness, we too must deal with the barriers that hold us back from fully engaging in the work of revival.
Fear, doubt, and feelings of unworthiness can paralyze us, preventing us from stepping out in faith.
But we must remember that our sufficiency comes from God, not from ourselves.
As the apostle Paul declares, "Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God" (2 Corinthians 3:5).
W”e must remember “The greatest need in the church today is for believers to fall in love with Jesus all over again."
When we are consumed with a love for Christ, when we are captivated by His holiness and grace, the obstacles that once seemed insurmountable begin to fade away.
We can find the courage and strength to say, "Here am I. Send me," knowing that God will equip us for every good work.

Igniting Personal and Communal Revival

Finally, as we reap the harvest of revival, we must recognize that it begins with personal transformation and extends to communal impact.
Isaiah's encounter with God not only changed him individually but also positioned him to be a catalyst for revival in his nation.
We are reminded tonight that "Revival is not just an emotional touch; it is a complete transformation, a change that affects every area of our lives."
As we experience personal revival, as we allow God to purify our hearts and renew our minds, we become conduits of His grace and power to those around us.
But revival is not meant to be contained within the walls of the church.
It is meant to overflow into our communities, bringing healing, restoration, and transformation.
The servant of the Lord reminds us that "A revival of true godliness among us is the greatest and most urgent of all our needs. To seek this should be our first work."
When we ignite the flames of revival in our own hearts, when we unite in prayer and purpose, when we step out in faith to serve and share the gospel, we create an atmosphere where God's Spirit can move mightily.
We become agents of change, instruments of God's redemptive work in our world.

Closing & Appeal

Church, the harvest is ripe, and the Lord is calling, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?"
Will you answer the call?
Will you say, like Isaiah, "Here am I. Send me"?
For when we respond with readiness,
When we apply the principles of revival,
When we overcome the obstacles that hinder us,
When we ignite personal and communal transformation,
The harvest will be plentiful, and the kingdom will advance!
Brothers & Sisters It's time to reap the harvest of revival!
It's time to step out in faith and obedience!
It's time to be agents of transformation in our world!
For when we go in the power of the Spirit,
Strongholds are broken,
Captives are set free,
And lives are forever changed!
So let us answer the call,
Let us ignite revival in our hearts and in our communities,
For the glory of God and the advancement of His kingdom!
Here am I, Lord. Send me!
Here am I, Lord. Use me!
Here am I, Lord. Empower me!
For the harvest is ready, and the time is now!
