Second Sign

Supernatural Synchronization
46 So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum. 47 When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and implored Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. 48 Then Jesus said to him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe.”
49 The nobleman said to Him, “Sir, come down before my child dies!”
50 Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your son lives.” So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way. 51 And as he was now going down, his servants met him and told him, saying, “Your son lives!”
52 Then he inquired of them the hour when he got better. And they said to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.” 53 So the father knew that it was at the same hour in which Jesus said to him, “Your son lives.” And he himself believed, and his whole household.
54 This again is the second sign Jesus did when He had come out of Judea into Galilee.
What is amazing about this story?
Faith alone isn’t enough … faith without works (doing something) is dead...
Have you ever been in a situation where you didn’t want to be in and needed to do something in order for things to change? Then later realized it was a place ordained by God to be in...
Insanity - doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result
This man had no idea if Jesus would be there if he left to go but he did it anyway… Yet he was at the right place at the right time… name a time when God placed you at the right place at the right time...
There were steps of faith taken here in order to get a miracle… what is the most steps/miles you have ever taken or walked in your life? Why were you walking?
How do faith and action go hand in hand?
This man went and followed Jesus… many of us want Jesus to follow us …many of us don’t see miracles because we aren’t willing to be inconvenienced by God
Where does this show you that you need to be inconvenienced by God in order to grow?
We tend to take the path of least resistance… which requires us to trust ourselves instead of God
What is the common denominator? How can we do the same?
Remember according to your faith… I want you to see these impossible situations to help you believe God can do this in your life...
