Hebrews 13:8 NKJV
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Hebrews 13:8 The Message
For Jesus doesn’t change—yesterday, today, tomorrow, he’s always totally himself.

The Jesus of Our Yesterday!

John 11:21 NKJV
Now Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.
John 11:32 NKJV
Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.”
Seeing Jesus in only a past reflection, both good and bad.
Some reflections are with gratitude, and others with disappointment.
1. Your past does not define you! Unless you let it.
2. Past Circumstances can’t be changed, but you can!
Famed UCLA basketball coach John Wooden often told his players, “Don’t live in the past; you can’t do anything about the past. It will never change whether it’s yesterday or last year. The future is yet to be determined and can be influenced by what you do today. Today is the only day that really matters.”

The Jesus of Our Tomorrow!

John 11:23–24 NKJV
Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”
Someday Syndrome
In the movie Shawshank Redemption, Andy Dufresne says to his pal Red as they sit in the prison yard, “It comes down to one simple decision. Either get busy living or get busy dying.” My life had taken an unexpected and unpleasant turn, but it was not over. I decided to get busy living.

The Jesus of Our Today!

John 11:25–26 NKJV
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
Jesus said, I AM! Not I was, or I will be, but I AM!
Faith is Now!
Hebrews 11:1 NKJV
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 Corinthians 6:2 CEV
In the Scriptures God says, “When the time came, I listened to you, and when you needed help, I came to save you.” That time has come. This is the day for you to be saved.
